At the end of the year 2005 BMW showed its new 3-series vehicle. Its appearance did not accord to the previous 3-series. The interior and exterior were made more modern. The newest 3-series is available with three bodies:
E90 - limousine,
E91 - wagon,
E92 - coupe,
E93 - cabrio,
The last body - cabrio - was shown in 2007.
In the April 2006 the BMW E90 was chosen as the Car of The Year. "Car and Driver" placed BMW 3 as their list of 10 best cars. Afterwards, the car was given the title "Best New Sports Sedan".
